Walk on Water - Orlando Shopping

Orlando, Florida - Review Experience

A Unique Boutique

You get a nice feeling when you walk into Walk on Water. Right away you feel welcome. In my experience, I always feel that the staff is genuinely interested in helping you. That’s one of the many charms of Walk on Water.

Walk on Water is a store (a unique boutique, as is their slogan) that sells affordable, high quality women’s merchandise. You can find clothing, accessories, and all types of gifts there. They also offer some men’s Tommy Bahama brand clothing.

I discovered Walk on Water after I developed my love for Pandora jewelry. Pandora jewelry is only sold through authorized dealers, and through their own stores. At the time I was living in Lake Mary and the closest place that I knew of was at the Florida Mall. So five minutes away from me was this store with a Pandora sign in the window. I went in to look at the jewelry and instantly fell in love with the store. It’s set up so beautifully that you don’t even have to look at the merchandise and instead just look at the layout of the store. In other words, it’s a “girly” place to go to.

Walk on Water sells such brands as Brighton, Vera Bradley, Pandora, Kameleon, and Michael Kors, among others. These are all popular brands with women of all ages, and they are all available at Walk on Water. You can always walk in and find something you like, whether it’s a handbag, a dress, or a bracelet. Every once in a while, they run promotions where you can get a certain dollar amount off your next purchase or receive a free gift with purchase. You can also find great deals on clearance merchandise.

Both Walk on Water locations are in the middle of very “hip” shopping centers, Colonial Town Park in Lake Mary, and Winter Park Village in Winter Park. Colonial Town Park and Winter Park Village both offer trendy boutiques, and great restaurants and bars. Both feature movie theaters as well. So once you’ve purchased a great new gift for yourself, why not check out the other shops while you’re there? You can go catch a movie, and then stop in at Cold Stone for ice cream. If you’re shopping at the Winter Park Village, stop in for frozen yogurt at Menchie’s. Even if the merchandise at Walk on Water isn’t your style, you’ll still enjoy the atmosphere of the store and you’ll love spending your time at either of the two shopping centers.

By the way, if you happen to be at the Winter Park Village, make sure to dine at Mitchell’s Fish Market. The place offers a menu of fish and other seafood, along with some chicken and steak dishes. The décor inside the establishment is meant to look like a ship, so you see a lot of buoys and nautical memorabilia.

Walk on Water has two locations. The first is at the Colonial Town Park, at 1140 Town Park Ave in Lake Mary, the second is at Winter Park Village at 460 Orlando Ave in Winter Park. Both are easy on/easy off from I-4.
