Encounter exotic animals and exciting adventures!

Disney is one of the biggest reasons people come to visit the Orlando area, and the Animal Kingdom is one of the two most popular parks for visitors, with the second being the Magic Kingdom. There's good reason behind this, too. The Animal Kingdom is full of fascinating animals and animal-themed rides, entertainment, dining, and so much more!

Animals

There are over 1,700 animals, spanning over 250 species located in the Animal Kingdom. In fact, this park is one of the largest animal-themed parks, and you can experience both exotic and domestic animals alike during your visit.

Just a few of the animals you can expect to see include: Asian small-clawed Otter, Axis Deer, Collared Lemur, Grey Kangaroo, Red Kangaroo, Porcupine, Striped Skunk, Black Rhinoceros, Bongo, Okapi, Grant's Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Nile Crocodile, Nile Hippopotamus, White-Bearded Wildebeest, African Elephant, African Lion, Cheetah, Ball Python, Chinchilla, Black Rough-necked Monitor, Kinkajou, Madagascar Tree Boa, Tawny Owl, Komodo Dragon, and Gorillas.

Entertainment

There is so much diverse entertainment located within Disney's Animal Kingdom park! Get off your feet for a few hours and be entertained. Listen to the sounds of Burudika, an African brand containing some of Harambe's finest musicians, or listen to Chakrandi, an Asian-centered duo on the virtuoso sitar and tabla.

There is also the opportunity to meet many of your favorite Disney characters, including (but not limited to): Baloo, Louie, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Pocahontas, Rafiki, Chip, and Dale. Be sure to get their autographs and take pictures so you never forget the magic of seeing them in person!
