All because you're on vacation doesn't mean you have to stick with the mainstream chains.  With the movement towards better and organic eating, Orlando has some of the best local finds around.  There are several locations that can be visited during the weekends, however, here is a list of the larger markets in the area.

Orlando Farmers' Market at Lake Eola

Open Sundays from 10 am - 4 pm

Take a gander at Lake Eola's infamous swans at this dog-friendly farmers market.  The venue features seasonal produce, as well as, a beer and wine garden.  This is not your average farmers' market, there is plenty to entice the senses.

Winter Park's Saturday Farmers' Market

Nestled next to Winter Park's rose garden, take advantage of Central Florida's #1 farmer's market with local eats, art, and more.  This is a great gathering place for you and your family.  After enticing your senses at the market, take a walk through Winter Park's beautiful Park Avenue for shopping and even more great food.

Central Park Farmers' Market in Lake Mary

Open Saturdays from 9 am - 1:30 pm

Also dog friendly, this farmers' market features locally made foods, honey, and produce.  Located in the heart of up and coming Lake Mary, this market is definitely a feast for the senses.
