Over the years my company approached the local authorities in regard to sea level rise, but because it’s a contentious issue they ignore the problem that the future will bring.

This week, the long-awaited report on the sea-level rise was published and what I have been predicting is that the UK will likely lose up to 200,000 homes due to sea-level rise in the next sixty-five years.

All our seas are connected so this sea-level rise of two feet by 2088 will affect all Countries, you may ask what’s this has to do with Orlando as you are inland from the sea, the change will come in a number of ways from the change in groundwater levels to infrastructure costs.
