INFORMATION ABOUT CONSTRUCTION A PASSIVE HOUSE

When the USSR collapsed a number of the Counties that Russia had occupied joined the EU, it soon become apparent that the cheap shoddy buildings erected were to house people, not their well-being.

To try and rectify this problem a grant scheme was set up to try and resolve this problem known as the Therma program, the problem we faced was most of these buildings were of single-skin construction and the environment on the external side of the building was at odds with the internal environment, this manifested its self in the form of black mold within the dwellings. 

To overcome this it was far more complicated than first envisaged, in fact, it would have been cheaper to demolish and construct new, this is one of the biggest problems facing the passive house, it must be designed to make use of the environment it sits in and adding insulation to standard type house is not the answer. The whole concept of a passive house is just that from its foundations to the cryogenic roof system, it has to protect from the elements but also enhance the quality of the occupants it’s protecting . This is no different if you live in the south of the Country or the north , the only difference is its orientation.

Para tentar corrigir este problema foi criado um esquema de subvenções para tentar resolver este problema conhecido como programa Therma, o problema que enfrentávamos era que a maioria desses edifícios era de construção de fachada única e o ambiente na parte externa do edifício era em desacordo com o ambiente interno, este se manifestava na forma de mofo preto dentro das habitações.

Para superar isso foi muito mais complicado do que se imaginava, de fato, teria sido mais barato demolir e construir novo, esse é um dos maiores problemas que a casa passiva enfrenta, ela deve ser projetada para aproveitar o ambiente em que se encontra e adicionar isolamento ao tipo de casa padrão não é a resposta. Todo o conceito de uma casa passiva é exatamente isso, desde suas fundações até o sistema de telhado criogênico, tem que proteger dos elementos, mas também melhorar a qualidade dos ocupantes que está protegendo. Isso não é diferente se você mora no sul do país ou no norte, a única diferença é sua orientação
